INFINI RF Hyperhidrosis Treatment
In addition to treating skin conditions, we use INFINI to treat excessive sweating under the arms (called axillary hyperhidrosis.) Hyperhidrosis can be an embarrassing condition that causes men and women to avoid certain social and professional situations. The INFINI radiofrequency treatment destroys the underarm sweat glands during a treatment that takes about 15 to 20 minutes after a topical cream numbs the area. The sweat glands targeted by the treatment don’t return.
Dr. Loo also offers BOTOX COSMETIC® injections to treat hyperhidrosis.
How Is INFINI Microneedling Done?
An INFINI microneedling treatment begins with the application of a topical anesthetic to help keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. We then move the INFINI device over the treatment areas as the microneedles penetrate the skin and deliver short bursts of radiofrequency energy. Each burst lasts only a fraction of a second. Depending on the number of areas treated, the procedure typically takes from 30 to 45 minutes.
How Long Does It Take to See Results From Microneedling?
You won’t notice immediate results because the microinjuries caused by the INFINI treatment heal gradually, generating collagen in the deeper layers of skin during that process. As the healing process continues over the course of several weeks, you’ll begin to notice smoother and tighter skin.
